Halloween, baby!

Next year, Halloween can be a bigger deal for us. It's just Gloria and Mama today, a good day to take care of a few things. This is the extent of our October 31st festivities. Tonight we will enjoy the pumpkin out on the patio. Hoping everyone stays safe tonight.

Here is Gloria, with Halloween intentions!

Happy Halloween baby.

Fall Happenings.

It's that incredibly busy time of the year again, so I thought I would check another thing off of our to-do list. While my entire family lives within driving distance, Danny's family is very wide-spread, and much larger. In addition, I've met so many wonderful friends who feel like family; what a great network I have married in to. That said, a blog is another tool we can use to share our updates with those who may want to peek in. Welcome!

The late summer and fall season in Minnesota is my absolute favorite. Danny says that it reminds him of Michigan. I have a highlight reel for our day adventures so far, in no particular order; we really try to utilize our weekends with baby in tow.

Here is Gloria, ready for our trip to the Roberts' home in Chaska to watch the Michigan v. Notre Dame game with daddy.

"Oh boy..."

On a beautiful weekend afternoon, we made our way out to Bryant Lake Regional Park in Eden Prairie, MN. A bit windy on the lake, but people were still out playing sand volley ball.

Another weekend, Grandma Judy took us to Pine Tree Apple Orchard in White Bear Lake, MN. It was a busy day, we had quite the hike. Definitely worth it, we made out like bandits with apple treats. My personal favorite: apple cinnamon donuts. We then drove through downtown Stillwater on our way to St. Croix Vineyards. Danny and I did a tasting, and decided their Orchard Reserve is one of the few white wines we could drink on a regular basis. Perhaps I liked it a little bit more than Danny...

We took advantage of crunchy leaves with a photo shoot.

An outing with friends, walking with babies through Hyland Lake Park Reserve. An excellent hike (which we were not quite expecting). It was beautiful! The Sears' family is always good company; Elle is such a happy little friend for Gloria.

October 26-29th will be spent travelling to Michigan for a family wedding. This will be the first time that Gloria and I meet much of Danny's family. I couldn't be more excited, and I know the Innes family is anxious to see Glo. We shall see how it goes... here is Gloria at her first wedding. She was a treat to have along, let's hope that trend continues. Cheers!
